Spectacular smoky gray topaz? glass pendant with huge glass stone that sits high in 3" x 3" crown sunburst antiqued silvertone setting. Chain about 24". This fabulous piece was bought with story that it had been worn on Renaissance costumes as part of a Dorcy productions auction sale. Many pieces were made by WEISS for the Dorcy Production Co., Inc. established in 1949 for film productions whose clients included Disney, Paramount, Bob Mackie and others. Apparently these pieces were stored for 20+ years before being auctioned with hats, wigs, masks, showgirl items, etc. Though I love the story, standing on it's own, it's still a gorgeous piece!
