This stunning antique sterling sword brooch is illustrated in several books on costume jewelry!  In  CRCJ, page 218, ....dagger of a high quality, sterling silver, 3 1/4" long, large topaz stone forms the handle, small rhinestone the ferrule with deep green stone (ours is yellow) for contrast, a band of rhinestone pasted in edges the dagger itself.  Many of the large companies made dagger jewelry, this could very well be Trifari, it is unsigned.  Value, $350-$450. also featured in the book C.J.V. page 171.
